Event at the National Stadium featuring Marek Kamiński

A few days ago, we documented an event featuring Marek Kamiński – the famous polar explorer and multiple conqueror of both Earth’s poles. Beyond the obvious appeal of interacting with a celebrity — even in such a specialized field, his global renown is undeniable — the event organizers likely aimed for attendees to gain some motivation. It was indeed an incredibly inspiring event, focusing on overcoming personal limitations and motivating action. After the lecture, there was time for questions from the audience. Curiosity was sparked by topics related to danger, extreme situations, and what goes through the mind of a solitary individual surrounded by the vastness of an icy void. The entire event took place at the National Stadium, which I saw up close for the first time – below is a panorama of the bare pitch. I wonder if the National Stadium’s grass overwinters in a greenhouse?
