On-Location Business Photoshoot
If you are planning a business photoshoot, one of the questions you are surely asking yourself is where to conduct it. A session in an office, cafe, or another rented location looks entirely different from one in a studio with a plain background. The location for the photoshoot should ideally be planned with the subsequent use of the photos in mind. Photos with a plain background work well if you want to highlight gestures, facial expressions, and focus the viewer’s attention on your image without distracting them with the room’s design. On the other hand, such photos can appear more sterile and less engaging for the viewer’s imagination.
A good way to decide which type of business photoshoot is better for you is to consider a website example. Many people use various sections of their designed website. As the Fantasmatic team, we have experience in website design and will gladly advise you on where to place which types of photos.
Examples of On-Location Business Photoshoots
Naturally, the choice of location also affects the price and the number of formalities that will need to be met. In the case of a studio, we have the space available and decide ourselves when we have free capacity. If we go on location, we first need to arrange with the venue owner the dates, scope of service, its duration, and even the composition of the photography team.
Another option is to utilize your company’s premises. If your employer agrees to let you use this space (often free of charge), we will gladly come to you to take photos at your workplace.
It is important to note that obtaining permission for a photographer to enter an office building does not automatically grant permission to take photographs. In Poland, office building managements are very strict in this regard, often requiring a lengthy bureaucratic process from initial request to final approval. Therefore, it is advisable to allow approximately one week to secure all necessary permissions.
